The kitchen at Thai Basil in Vancouver underwent a complete transformation to better meet the demands of a busy restaurant environment. The original setup was outdated, cluttered, and showed visible signs of wear from years of daily operation.
Before:
- Cabinets and shelves were old, darkened, and had become inefficient for daily use.
- The countertop surfaces were uneven and showed signs of heavy wear, making cleaning and food preparation difficult.
- Storage areas lacked organization, leading to congestion during peak hours.
- Lighting was insufficient, creating a dim workspace.
During the Renovation:
- The entire kitchen area was carefully dismantled, with old fixtures and materials removed to make space for the new design.
- A clear focus was placed on optimizing workflow, improving both accessibility and cleanliness standards.
- Durable, restaurant-grade materials were selected to ensure longevity and ease of maintenance.
After:
- Brand new cabinetry was installed with a modern, sleek finish, providing both style and functionality.
- New countertops created a seamless and hygienic surface for food prep.
- Custom shelving and storage units helped maximize space, keeping the kitchen organized even during the busiest hours.
- Improved lighting made the entire kitchen brighter and more efficient to work in.
The end result is a completely refreshed kitchen that not only looks professional but also supports the high pace of a successful restaurant operation like Thai Basil.
