This project highlights a complete kitchen and pantry renovation for a home in Burnaby. The original kitchen was functional but outdated, featuring older cabinetry, limited storage options, and a closed-off feeling that made the space look smaller.

Before:

  • Cabinets were traditional oak with heavy detailing and a yellowed finish over time.
  • Pantry was small, with basic shelves and insufficient lighting.
  • Countertops were tiled, making maintenance difficult and giving the kitchen a cluttered appearance.
  • Overall, the kitchen lacked modern features, organization, and an open layout.

After:

Layout was carefully reconfigured to make the kitchen more open, functional, and connected to the dining area. Custom-made flat panel cabinets in warm wood tones were installed, bringing a fresh, clean, and modern look while preserving a cozy atmosphere. A full-height walk-in pantry with custom shelving was built, dramatically increasing storage capacity and accessibility. Stone countertops replaced the old tiles, providing a seamless, durable, and easy-to-clean surface. New lighting fixtures, including recessed ceiling lights and under-cabinet lights, made the space brighter and more inviting.
